Our symposium theme was chosen to help bridge the gap and show the synergies between APA-related policy, practice and research. Sustainable Development and human rights are the prevailing frameworks underpinning international policy in sport, physical activity and physical education.

Participants can contribute their research and practical sessions across three strands:

1. Creating new opportunities to thrive,
2. ‘Inclusivizing’ our world
3. Nothing about us, without us.

The final date for submission of abstracts is the 29th of November 2024.

The tables below show how APA aligns with the SDGs and human rights while giving scope to cover a wide range of topics at the International Symposium of Adapted Physical Activity 2025.
